It really has been hitting home lately, that we are a typical American Family - my spouse's warehousing/transportation company laid him off because they are filing for bankruptcy. Our home has lost 42% of it's value. Our american made car is falling apart and needs repair. The bills are coming in, but our conservation efforts are helping. We're canceling the cable - stripping down our cell phone plans - and have stopped eating out.
Maybe we should apply for Food Stamps and Utility Help
